Test Page for photonic oddity

Rollei Infrared film went out of stick near the start of the pandemic. A few weeks ago, it returned. I order some. The freezer is getting a little crowded.

Yesterday, the sun was just about shining, and the stir-crazyness was strong, so we put ourselves in the car and drove to Bellvue, to a natural area named Coal Creek. Into my bag went two rolls of film. One of IR film, and another of color, in case there was some chance of a reasonable image this week’s ‘blue’ critique.

We arrive to find a scene painted in shades of green, rather than blue. Not much sky was to be seen between the treetops. So, in went the IR film. Uncharacteristically, back came eight pretty reasonable images.

The next step will be to see if any of these look like good candidates for Cyan-o-typicifcaion. We shall see. It seems to have been a pretty lucky day. No shots of the lens cap, no dramatic focus failures, exposures in the latitude. And there it is.
